All the purchases for the bedroom have been made except for the comforter/bedding.
I am soooo excited about this room especially because I know my son will absolutely love it!
Thus far, I purchased items to DIY an antler chandelier. I have an antler bowl from Kohls and a light fixture from Lowes clearance section. Oh, yeah and somewhere (I can't find it), I have epoxy/glue it's 2 ton glue and should hold anything. I purchased it at Ace Hardware.
This week, my goal is to complete the window treatment and light fixture. If I get these done, then I will be relieved. Those are my two major projects.
Our project is coming along well for week 3. Although it feels like we made strides, there is soooo much more to go.
Things completed this far include:
-painted the room- it came out really nice. The colors look great together. I am so excited about how it all came out.
-purchased seating- this was not planned, but I found a steal $50 chesterfield style and plush. I just had to!
-transitioned the crib into a full size bed
Wow, we're already at week there smack dab in the middle of the ORC.
I have some key things accomplished thanks to my hubby and the kids.
The penny floor was put down and the walls and trim are painted.
That sounds like almost everything, but nope. There is so much more to do.
Wait a minute! A big snaffoo happened.
Our little man is growing up and so should his bedroom. A fun modern contemporary approach on a traditional room of a house.. the man cave.
The design inspiration for this guest bathroom started with DIY penny floors.
On an beknownst quest to maintain a cohesive look and color for the first floor of my home; I decided
to add the black and white theme in the guest bathroom.
