ORC Week 4: All Patched Up and Ready to Roll Powder Room Progress

YAAAAAS!!!!   The leak in the powder room has been repaired!

I repeat the leak in the powder room has been repaired!!

It was definitely a nail biter.

This is my first One Room Challenge and smack dab in the middle of it, I had a plumbing issues in my powder room.

There was a leak in the pipe and we had to basically but a hole into the drywall to get to the pipe.

The leak was coming through the toilet paper roll dispenser.

Well, it's all good now and we are ready to roll!  (Get it! Ha, ha!)

One Room Challenge Week 3: Pennies on My Mind

Wow, we're already at week there smack dab in the middle of the ORC.

I have some key things accomplished thanks to my hubby and the kids.

The penny floor was put down and the walls and trim are painted.

That sounds like almost everything, but nope. There is so much more to do.

Wait a minute! A big snaffoo happened.

Copper Bathroom, ORC: Week 2 The Design Plan

The design inspiration for this guest bathroom started with DIY penny floors.

On an beknownst quest to maintain a cohesive look and color for the first floor of my home; I decided

to add the black and white theme in the guest bathroom.

Copper Inspired Bathroom Makeover, ORC- Week One, The Before

One Room Challenge Week One

I'm super excited to be part of the one room challenge. Each year, I watched the designers as they transform spaces.

This year, I decided to take on the challenge and transform my guest bathroom.

I wanted to choose a space that was small enough to conquer in 6 weeks in case I have to roll solo.  I also wanted to do an affordable redesign that I could manage as my life is already full, so this won't be what will cause it to overflow. It will be well worth it.

Presently, my guest bathroom is all white. I like to call it builder grade flat paint standard white, just the way it was when we purchased our home 3 years ago. The only difference is the foot traffic of 3 children and numerous guests.

The entire first floor of my home is black and white ( my favorite color patter), so I figured it would only be appropriate to continue in the guest bathroom. I want to add a pop of color and I've been obsessed with penny floors so....  fun times ahead.

Here are some inspiration I found on Pinterest.

I love this color scheme especially how teal and copper can be so dreamy.

The Before

Below, are pictures of the guest bathroom. This bathroom is super small, which makes it an exciting challenge.
